Using Campaign Activity Monitor

When you open the Campaign Activity Monitor, the default view is displayed.

The default view shows deployments from all sources, with any status, with started and scheduled dates in the range of today plus or minus three days (for example, if today is Friday - you can see deployments from Wednesday to the following Monday inclusive).

You can change the display by filtering, sorting and searching.

From the Campaign Activity Monitor you can open related campaigns in Campaign Manager.

The 'Now' line

The 'Now' line is an orange line that appears in the middle of the display, indicating the current day and time. This line is only visible when the default sort order of descending scheduled date is applied.

Deployments above the 'Now' line are scheduled to start in the future and those below have already started or are completed.

In default view, the Now line is always in the middle of the screen, so you can easily see what is happening in real time. If there are more deployments above or below the default display, scroll up or down to see them (then the 'Now' line is no longer in the middle of the screen).

Refreshing the display

Click the Refresh icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen to update the information displayed in the main grid. When you refresh the display, your selected Sort order is retained.

For performance reasons the maximum number of rows that are displayed in a Campaign Activity Monitor page is 10,000. If you scroll beyond this data range, (for example, if you have a large number of future deployments), there could be a slight delay while the next 10,000 rows is being calculated and retrieved.

Campaign Manager deployments can only be viewed in batches of 20,000 rows

To maximize performance, Campaign Manager sends recipient lists to Email Manager in batches of 20,000 rows. This means that when viewing in-progress deployments originating from a Campaign Manager Tactic, the List Total and % Done columns display the current chunk of 20,000 rows and not the total that the tactic is outputting. The List Total value will therefore increase in increments of 20,000.
